Muirhead offers a collection of six standard upholstery leather series with the lowest CO2 balance of any leather manufacturer in the world. This extensive selection of over 140 colours and specifications is available from stock.
Stocks represent only a small portion of Muirhead’s production capacity. If you have a custom colour you would like to adapt, simply send a sample or colour reference such as Pantone, Dulux or RAL, and Muirhead’s colour laboratory will match. A perforation pattern can also be applied to any Muirhead leather. Other custom designs are also available.

As the market leader in the worldwide market for aircraft seats, the high-performance genuine leather is supplied to over 160 airlines, airframe and seat manufacturers in 60 countries.
Muirhead aviation leather is designed to meet all airworthiness specifications and the in-house testing laboratory is UKAS approved to perform FAA 28.853, Vertical Burn and ABD0031 Smoke Density and Toxicity Tests (BSI ISO 17025:2005). State-of-the-art flame-retardant aviation leather has also been developed in-house to meet the stringent requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority.

The Muirhead Ingleston & Grampian series offer a range of colours and prints suitable for the mass transit market.
